The Situation

Centex Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in the nation, had an incredible, historically significant waterfront property on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Approved for 650 homes with two 18-hole golf courses and a private marina, the property was strategically located on the main road leading out of Ocean City, Maryland.

Centex knew they had a winner, but wanted to make sure GlenRiddle was perceived and marketed as the premier community in the area, worthy of a new and significantly higher level of pricing in the market.

The Strategy

Creating Results began working with Centex Homes and other partners early in the process. During site planning, a prime location was selected for the pre-sales center. Creating Results went to work developing an Information Center that was unlike any the market had seen before.

The Solution

Two typical pre-sales trailers were transformed into a cottage, complete with a welcoming front porch. Visitors are greeted with a hand-crafted stained glass display featuring the GlenRiddle logo.

The beauty of the property is portrayed in two additional stained glass displays of cattails, water and heavenly blue sky. The message to visitors is consistent throughout: GlenRiddle is the premier resort community in Ocean City, Maryland, as well as the entire mid-Atlantic beach area.

While displays demonstrate the great variety of amenities and activities of the area, the real focus is on the resort lifestyle GlenRIddle will offer, with its own private clubhouse, incredible golf and private marina.

Creating Results designed each aspect of the Information Center and managed the fabrication of the displays, site plan table and original stained glass pieces.
