Erin Read (Ruddick)

Since joining Creating Results, Erin has focused intently on Baby Boomers and seniors. She is the “Dean” of the agency’s in-house training program, the Mature Marketing Academy, and has addressed regional, national and international audiences. Research she co-directed with 40+ consumers has been featured in Selling to Seniors, BrandWeek and other industry publications.

She contributes to integrated online/offline marketing programs for a variety of clients, counsels on social media marketing, and is the agency's Chief Twit(-erer). Drawing on experience with Courtyard by Marriott, Hilton Casinos and other travel/leisure clients, Erin now spearheads regional and travel accounts for Creating Results.

Erin spent her career in public relations and marketing prior to joining Creating Results in 2005 to help launch the New England office. She contributes to integrated online/offline marketing programs for a variety of clients, counsels on social media marketing, and spearheads regional and travel accounts. 

Since joining Creating Results, Erin has focused intently on Baby Boomers and seniors. She is the “Dean” of the agency’s in-house training program, the Mature Marketing Academy, and has addressed regional, national and international audiences. Research she co-directed with 40+ consumers has been featured in Selling to Seniors, BrandWeek and other industry publications.

As an Account Supervisor at Cohn & Wolfe, she served as day-to-day manager of the Courtyard by Marriott, Hilton Casinos and other travel/leisure accounts. She supervised media relations activities, national radio promotions, crisis communications and more. Later she co-founded and served as marketing director for a family business.  

Her passionate approach to client programs began at Atlanta’s Duffey Communications, as part of the record-setting launch of the Georgia Lottery. She later served as writer, producer and even cue-card holder for a series of live television shows that helped establish the Lottery brand. Erin’s efforts on the Georgia Lottery account helped garner the agency a Silver Anvil Award, the public relations industry’s highest honor, but she still hasn't figured out how to win PowerBall. 

Erin graduated cum laude from Colgate University, receiving honors in Spanish.
