Creating Results Vice President Melissa Caravella will moderate a lively panel of senior living marketing pros in a session called "Trading Places: Insider Insights From Marketing Experts" at the 2017 LeadingAge Annual Meeting & Expo.

The panel features six experts who have worked on both the agency and client sides of marketing:

  • Kimberly Hulett (President, Creating Results)
  • Fran Palma (Senior Vice President, Covenant Retirement Communities) 
  • Jason McCloud (Director of Digital Marketing, Benchmark Senior Living)
  • Kim Daly Nobbs (Principal, Prajna Partners)
  • Rochelle Valsaint (Vice President, Lenbrook Square Foundation
  • Tom Mann (Principal and Executive Vice President, Love & Company)

The session will take place on Tuesday, October 31, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Attendees will will learn how they can improve effectiveness and reduce cost delays through improved communication with marketing consultants and agencies.

Insights from Creating Results national study, Social, Silver Surfers were published in the Forbes article, Why Senior Housing Prices are Impossible to Find by Rich Eisenberg:

“We’ve been doing studies of senior housing sites since 2010, and every year, people complain in significant percentages that the websites don’t reveal their prices,” said Erin Read, research director at Creating Results, a consulting firm specializing in the 50+ market. “It defies logic for me.”

In Creating Results’ new Social, Silver Surfers study, 68% of people who moved into senior housing in the last two year complained that prices aren’t revealed on the sites; 75 of respondents who helped others make such moves (caregivers, family members) had the same beef.

The Mature Market Resource Center (MMRC) awarded Creating Results a bronze award in Marketing Communications for their execution of a Traditions of America direct mail piece, as well as in Web-Based & Mobile Resources for their work on a new Traditions of America website. Creating Results also received a merit award in Publications for a brochure created for Florida-based continuing care retirement community (CCRC) Lutheran Haven.
