Real Estate Marketing that Appeals to the Senses Wins Awards



Woodbridge, VA– [June 3, 2008]Virginia-based marketing agency Creating Results has long advocated for marketing that appeals to all senses – sight, sound, touch and even scent.  The company was recently recognized for its success when it received two Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence Awards (MAME) from the Washington Metropolitan Sales and Marketing Council.

Creating Results, (www.creatingresults.com), a full-service, strategic marketing company, submitted only three entries into the competition and won for two – a full-color print ad that was a feast for the eyes and a somewhat quirky radio ad that caught listeners’ ears.

They won ‘Best Single Color Ad” for an ad created for Caldera Communities’ Sunset Harbour at Bethany Beach, a luxury high-end community of resort homes on the Eastern Shore.  The visually striking ad, titled "World at Your Front Door," shows a man dressed in a white suit standing on the beach through an open door, and emphasized that this is the only development in the area to include a private boat dock with every home.  The ad was utilized in print and outdoor advertising campaigns, as well as on the community’s website.  It was one component of an integrated marketing campaign that generated nearly 1,000 leads for Caldera’s sales team in less than four months.    

A radio spot titled "Poetry Night," produced for client Orion Residential for their Four Winds at Oakton condominium community, tied for “Best Broadcast, Radio.”  In “Poetry Night,”a young woman recites how she will be breaking free of food-stealing roommates, shared sinks, and cramped quarters.  The creative, somewhat quirky radio ads spoke directly to the needs and desires of young professionals.  The ad was used in connection with a sales event resulting in increased traffic to the community and more than twice the normal weekly sales for the client.
