Todd Harff and Erin Read Selected by ICAA for Expertise on 50-Plus Adults (MarketWatch)

While half of all money spent in North America is by adults aged 50 and over, a staggering 95% of marketing dollars are spent on people 30 and younger.

The discrepancy is both a huge oversight and an enormous opportunity for those who know how to talk to the older adult crowd, says Colin Milner, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA).

And it's why his organization decided to hold its first-ever Marketing Symposium in advance of this year's ICAA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida ... A number of distinguished speakers and panel members will also be featured at the Symposium.

Todd Harff and Erin Read of Creating Results will present an interactive session entitled Stay, Fly & Shop to Success: What Active Aging Can Learn From Global Leaders at the 2014 International Council on Active Aging conference (#ICAAOrlando).

The interactive and highly-recommended presentation features case studies from three global corporate leaders, Marriott, Southwest and Nordstrom. Todd and Erin link insights to action steps that will help products/services providers within the active aging industry be more competitive.

"Developing a Mature Consumer Strategy" is part of a professional certificate for eldercare management, presented by E.L.D.E.R. through Lasell College Graduate and Professional Studies.
