Rolling the Dice at the 2019 International Builders’ Show

Creating Results is heading west to Las Vegas for the 2019 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS). Each year, members of the building industry gather to share knowledge and engage in discourse on 55+ home building, sales and marketing. This year’s show is shaping up to be a memorable one!

Here are the things I’m most anticipating for IBS 2019:

55+ Housing Central: This is a great space for 55+ housing industry professionals to network. Each day there are several smaller presentations that take place on a variety of relevant topics including community relaunches, positioning and selling small communities, where buyers go online when searching for a home and more.

I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be one of the speakers at “The Central” this year. I’ll be leading a session called Not So Senior Anymore: What 55+ Can Learn from the Evolution of Senior Living. More information about the session can be found here.

55+ Building Knowledge Sessions: This year’s knowledge session topics range from home design to the future of the 55+ housing industry.

Networking: IBS is never lacking opportunities to network with industry peers and influencers to learn about the latest trends, as well as challenges that are impacting our industry and how to overcome them. With tracks for sales and marketing, multifamily, community planning and industry trends, you are always guaranteed to meet the best and brightest at IBS’ networking events.

55+ Housing Tour: I enjoy participating in the tour each year and learning how other communities position themselves and work with prospective buyers throughout the purchase journey.

See you in Vegas!

Are you planning to attend IBS 2019? If so, I’d love to meet with you during the conference!

Email me at beth@creatingresults.com or be sure to check out my session on Tuesday, Feb. 19 in the 55+ Housing Central. I’ll be exploring the potential market share impact of the new breed of senior living that is appealing to younger prospects and what 55+ developers need to know/do to compete.
