As the long weekend comes to its end, it’s important that we all take some time to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day.
This is a day for honoring and remembering those who have lost their lives fighting to protect our country’s freedom. It’s a yearly reminder about the cost countless men and women have paid to uphold the American way – after all, “freedom isn’t free.”
Without these selfless heroes, the American Dream – life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness – would not have endured after all these years.
