Career Opportunity: Account Manager – Remote Locations (Multiple)
Creating Results, a growing full-service strategic marketing and sales agency in Woodbridge, VA, is currently seeking a full-time, Account Manager to join the Account Services team. Creating Results works with clients who serve mature consumers, with focus in senior living and 55+ real estate.

WHAT YOU WILL MAINLY DO
With guidance from account lead, you will act as primary CR contact for assigned accounts and/or various small-to-mid-size client projects, such as ongoing digital marketing campaigns or projects. You will lead the overall account strategy and work closely with our creative and media teams to oversee the flawless implementation of assigned clients’ projects or marketing plans. Specifically, Account Managers use their strategy skills and marketing knowledge to:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ACCOUNT MANAGER:
Relationship management
- Builds and maintains strong client relationships
- Keeps Account Director informed of project status and next steps of all assigned account projects
- Participates in regular client-facing meetings
- Recognizes account business issues and alerts Account Director of opportunities
- Motivates and manages internal execution team to execute project work
- Encourages teamwork and accountability to complete projects tasks on time and on budget
- Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
Project management
- Responsible for the consistent, successful facilitation of projects from kickoff/spec sheet development through final delivery
- Creates and maintains campaign/project work-back schedule
- Schedules and prepares for internal production and client status meetings
- Communicates with client about project execution details
- Communicates with internal account team as schedules are modified significantly throughout execution when modifications result in additional scope required or major timing changes, utilizing negotiation and consensus approach to remedy competing priorities
- Works closely with Account Director to ensure marketing plan files are accurate and mirror accurate schedules/budgets
- Provides day-to-day project related client communication, keeping Account Directors informed
- Manages quality of all client deliverables
Budget management
- Manages all projects on-quality, on-time, and on-budget
- Ensures vendor quotes and orders align with project budgets, entering orders and vendor invoices that are managed
- Monitors project budgets, allocated/actual labor and schedules daily
- Proactively mitigates scope creep

The minimum criteria for this Account Manager opportunity are as follows:
- 3+ years of experience in traditional media buying, with a track record of successful placements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. business management, marketing, communication, etc.)
- Agency and/or in-house marketing experience preferred
- Experience with account/project management, budgeting or scheduling software required
- Self-starter and independent problem solver
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with project management software such as Wrike, Asana or Workamajig, preferred.
- Able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment both independently and as a team member
- Proficiency with PCs in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
