Last week, I attended the LeadingAge PA annual conference in Hershey, and it was easy to see that attendees were living this year’s theme, Life on Purpose. The show opened with Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina discussing innovative and strategic leadership. This discussion about innovative solutions to daily issues was a theme that was discussed throughout the week.
Attending with Purpose!
Not only was the theme of Life on Purpose in the air, but LeadingAge PA members also attended with a purpose. Attendees were there to learn about areas outside of their expertise. You saw CFOs in marketing sessions and marketing professions seeking out sessions on public policy. Attendees came to the expo knowing that they wanted solutions and had ideas of who they wanted to speak with.
Throughout the conference, you saw meetings in the lobby, restaurants and during the networking events involving intense conversations on how to create new innovative ideas that allow LeadingAge PA employees, residents, families and the communities they serve to encourage a life full of purpose and meaning.
