Positioned for Growth: LeadingAge 2019 Preview

It’s that time of year again. The time to ask “what if…” as we prepare to come together once more with our allies in aging services at the LeadingAge 2019 Annual Meeting + Expo. We’re looking forward to an inspiring keynote, educational sessions, knowledge sharing from all facets of the aging services industry and, of course, all the good times that will ensue.

Position Your Community for Growth at LeadingAge 2019

This year, Melissa Caravella, Creating Results’ Vice President of Client Services, will team with Paul Duffy, The Baldwin’s Director of Marketing, to present Positioned for Growth: Diversify Your Payer Mix and Restructure Your Marketing.

During this session, they’ll provide insights on the effect that shifting payer mix focus from higher acuity levels of care to private-pay levels of care will have on the sales and marketing approaches of senior living organizations. They’ll share the successes and challenges the communities they’ve worked with have faced when transitioning to a more residential focus and how attendees can apply them to their own community’s growth.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a better understanding of how to address internal and external brand perception, set goals and milestones for a successful transition, restructure your marketing strategies, position product amenities and adjust your sales approach.

For more information, look for session 99-F in the LeadingAge Annual Meeting + Expo program. The session will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 3:30-5 p.m.

Here are some of the other events we’re looking forward to at this year’s conference:

  • The Expo Floor: A chance to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, learn more about new trends in aging services, play games at all the different booths and pick up all the free conference swag! Come find us at booth 2350.
