Conference season looks a little different this year, and with that comes a different kind of excitement. We’re excited to participate in this year’s Massachusetts Assisted Living Association Annual Conference (MASS-ALA) being held virtually on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
The focus of this year’s conference is “navigating assisted living in an uncertain time.” We’re looking forward to learning how other industry professionals are adapting to the unique challenges assisted living providers are facing during this time.
What to Expect at MASS-ALA: Marketing to the Adult Child During a Pandemic
During the virtual MASS-ALA conference, Jessica Ruhle, Sales Specialist and Project Director at Creating Results, will present Overcoming Challenges for Marketing to the Adult Child During a Pandemic. Here’s what attendees can expect from this session:
- Receive tips for assessing business needs and how they can be modified in response to the changing business landscape
- Learn how to adapt sales and marketing strategies to meet adult child prospects where they are, capture their attention and learn creative ways for nurturing prospects while following social distancing guidelines
- Get insights into best practices for developing messaging and content that highlights the benefits of community life, especially during a pandemic
The session will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to noon and is a can’t miss for assisted living providers looking to achieve their sales and occupancy goals, even amidst the pandemic.
For more information, visit the MASS-ALA website.
Here are some other events we’re looking forward to at this year’s conference:
Morning Keynotes: Who doesn’t love a good keynote to kick off a day jam packed with learning and discussion? Day 1’s keynote, led by Pete Smith, President of SmithImpact, focuses on significant communication in calm and chaos, a topic which has been more relevant than ever in our industry this year.
Educational Sessions: Just perusing through the two-day agenda for the conference is an exciting prospect. There are sessions regarding caregiving, keeping residents engaged during times of social distancing, helping staff cope with the mental effects of COVID-19 and more. We’re excited for all of it!
Virtual Networking: Even though we’re unable to meet in person this year, we’re looking forward to connecting and sharing ideas with other conference attendees.
