It was a pleasure to reconnect with our friends and colleagues at the highly anticipated 2023 Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. The conference provided an invaluable platform for industry leaders to come together, exchange ideas and glean insights that are shaping the future of senior living.
The choice of New Orleans as the conference’s location added a touch of unique charm and hospitality to the event. The city’s rich history, vibrant culture and renowned cuisine provided a delightful backdrop for networking and learning. From the picturesque French Quarter to the soulful melodies of jazz music echoing through the streets, New Orleans truly embraced us with its warm embrace.
Argentum 2023 Key Takeaway #1: Senior living communities are looking for digital insight
During the conference, we had the opportunity to engage with senior living communities and gain valuable insights into their needs and priorities. One recurring theme that emerged was the increasing importance of digital expertise in marketing partnerships. In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, it can be challenging for senior living community leaders to stay abreast of the latest marketing trends and strategies.
As a trusted partner, Creating Results aims to bridge this gap by providing the latest industry insights through our blog posts and resources. For example, our recent blog about how seniors use YouTube, which sheds light on the power of video marketing in reaching and engaging older adults. We’re committed to equipping senior living communities with the digital knowledge and tools they need to thrive in an increasingly competitive landscape.
Another common theme we heard from communities was needing help navigating the various types of Sales and Marketing automation platforms in the industry. As with digital marketing, new products and features are being released everyday within this niche and community leaders need help navigating this field. Our agency is platform agnostic, meaning we will work with anyone on any platform. We also will suggest whatever platform best suites your business needs.

Argentum 2023 Key Takeaway #2: New technologies are emerging
The Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference showcased an impressive array of cutting-edge technologies that have the potential to revolutionize the senior living industry. One particularly exciting product that caught our attention was Aline, a comprehensive sales, marketing and resident management system. Aline, born from the merger of Enquire, Sherpa and Glennis, offers a seamless and integrated solution to streamline operations and enhance the resident experience. The emergence of such an innovative technology underscores the industry’s commitment to leveraging advancements to meet the evolving needs of older adults and their families.
Another technology company that was featured at the conference was SiteStaff, a live chat company that can be featured on your website. Rather than the user talking to a chatbot on your website, SiteStaff provides a live support agent on the other side of the chat. Each one of their Chat hosts are college educated, American-based, and specialize in the senior living industry.
Argentum 2023 Key Takeaway #3: You are a leader of one or a leader of none
A pivotal segment of the conference was keynote speaker Kevin Brown (featured to the left) and his insight into leadership. He believes that you are “a leader of one or a leader of none” — that is to say, you must master oneself and develop positive habits to become world-class leaders, mentors and coaches. At Creating Results, we strive every day to embody this idea of “self-mastery” both as a company and as individuals; his speech was a powerful reminder to continue improving our practices and strategies to be our “best selves” for our clients. As Kevin pointed out, this is the goal of leadership in an organization and what can separate a great team from a good team. You can read more about Kevin’s philosophy here.
